Miss Winkler’s Rites Tomorrow

Funeral services for Miss Bessie Gertrude WINKLER, 41, of Big Cove, will be held tomorrow at 2 p.m. from the Big Cove Holiness Church. Mitchell DRAKE will officiate.

Miss Winkler died yesterday after a long illness.

Survivors are her father, Ernest WINKLER, and two sisters, Mrs. Fronie DEMPSEY and Mrs. Clara ELLETT, both of Owens Cross Roads.

Pallbearers will be Jim MONTGOMERY, Joe OWENS, MILTON DRAKE, Earl HUNTER, Elbert KENT and Aubrey BURKS.

Burial will be in Neal’s Chapel Cemetery. Spry Funeral Home will handle the arrangements.
