Frances Leona Burke

Frances Leona BURKE of Big Cove passed away Sunday. She was 81. Mrs. Burk was a native of Lincoln County, Tenn., but a lifelong resident of Madison County. She was a member of Big Cove Holiness Church.

Mrs. Burke was preceded in death by her husband, James Aubrey BURKE. Survivors include her son, Nelson BURKE of Big Cove; three daughters, Stella LEAVELL of Coral Springs, Fla., Libby BEARD of Atlanta and Marie GUTHRIE of Huntsville; and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be Tuesday at 11 a.m. at Big Cove Holiness Church with Bro. Oakley DRAKE and Bro. Dennis McANALLY officiating. Her body will be at the church two hours before the funeral. Burial will be in Green Valley Cemetery. Visitation will be today from 6 to 9 p.m. at Spry Funeral Home.
