Fannie L. Byrd

HARVEST - Fannie Lee BYRD, 75, died Monday at a Huntsville hospital. The funeral will be Thursday at 11 a.m. at Spry Funeral Home chapel with the Rev. Richard CRAFT and the Rev. Erby WOOTEN officiating. Burial will be in Green Valley Cemetery.

Mrs. Byrd was a native of Texas and a longtime resident of Big Cove. She was preceded in death by her husband, Harvey BYRD; and one son, Willard BYRD.

Survivors include one daughter, Shirley KERR of Rossville, Ga.; four sons, James BYRD of Soddy Daisy, Tenn., Larry BYRD of Harvest, Bobby BYRD of Big Cove and Roger BYRD of Rainsville; one sister, Joyce HASTON of Hixon, Tenn.; and 20 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be today from 3:30 to 9 p.m. and Wednesday from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.
