Funeral Is Set For Mrs. Worley; New Hope Resident Has 58 Descendants

Funeral services for Mrs. Laura C. WORLEY, 90, New Hope, will be held Wednesday at 3:30 p.m. from the New Hope Methodist Church with the Rev. R. B. STONE, the Rev. Sebe KELL Jr. and the Rev. W. D. BOWLING officiating.

Burial will follow in the New Hope Cemetery. Mrs. Worley, a life-long resident of New Hope and a member of the Galilee Baptist Church, died today at 5 a.m. at her home.

Survivors are two daughters, Miss Hester WORLEY, New Hope, and Mrs. Homer W. BRAGG, Huntsville; five sons, Dr. Gordon WORLEY, Austin, Texas, Tom WORLEY, Toney, Shelby WORLEY, Scottsboro, Clyde WORLEY, DeWitt, Arkansas, and Allen WORLEY, New Hope; two sisters, Mrs. Alice JETTON, Union Grove, Ala., and Mrs. Hettie VANN, New Hope; and 19 grandchildren and 32 great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be grandsons ad grandsons-in-law of Mrs. Worley. Honorary pallbearers will be Dr. James L. CARPENTER, the Rev. Joe ANGLIN, the Rev. Jack CAIN, W. E. SELF, W. W. TABOR, Sam MAPLES, Charley HUNT, John Henry STEPHENS, Sam HUNTER and Walter BRANUM.

Butler Brothers Funeral Home will be in charge of funeral arrangements.
