John and Dorothy(----) Downam are her parents.She was married twice but had all her children with John Pray,her first husband.This family was of the Iron Works personal who were an "Earthy Breed" of people. Her and both husbands were in and out of trouble as were other members of this Pray family. She married John Pray on 7 May 1657 in Braintree,Norfolk,MA.They are the parents of ten children all born in Braintree:

Dorothy Pray-1675-Daniel Furbish

After John died she remarried Daniel Livingston and went to York,York Co.,ME. with Joanna's three youngest children and established the Pray family in York Co.,ME.

On 20 Aug 1694 Daniel was killed by Indians in an attack on York near the Maxwell garrison where he lived. The family moved to Kittery and settled there.⁵
