Parce H Deese 72 of Rt 2 Matthews a retired farmer died Sunday morning June 24 in Union Memorial Hospital Monroe. He was born May 15, 1901 in Union County son of Bob and Martha Secrest Deese. 

Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 2 pm in the chapel of Harris Scruggs Monroe conducted by Rev J A Rogers and Rev John M Medlin Burial with be at Lakeland Memorial Park in Monroe. Surviving is his wife Mrs Odessa Pressley Deese , five sons P H Deese Jr of Buffalo, NY Raeford Deese of Ft Mills Rufus Deese of Matthews Carl Deeseof Indian Trail. Harris Deese of Charlotte.  18 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.
