St. Joseph's Retreat   Dearborn, Michigan   1910

1910--The Retreat known as St. Joseph's, under the charge of St. Vincent De Paul, was founded in Detroit in 1860. It was removed to its present location in 1885. The institution was founded for the care of the insane and feeble-minded. The inmates have the care of the best physicians in the state. (page 47)

The photographs and text were published in 1910 in honor of the seventh Annual Meeting of the Catholic Educational Association which met in Detroit, Michigan, July 5, 1910
