Ruling of Law Division dated 8 Oct 1910 concerning the marriages of Jane Blackhart. States that the marriage to William H. Hunt on 5 Apr 1874 was not lawful as he already had a lawful wife. This left her legally able to marry William E. Blackhart. However, since William E. Blackhart had not divorced his first wife, he was not legally eligible for marriage to Jane. Therefore, neither of Jane's marriages were legal.

Form 3-202 dated 23 Sep 1910. States Jane Burden married W. H. Hunt as a plural wife and bore two children. She obtained no divorce and W. H. Hunt was still alive on 5 Apr 1874 she married, under the name of Jane Hunt, William E. Blackhart, who was using the name William B. Eldridge. William Blackhart had never been divorced from his first wife, Mary E., whom he married 7 Apr 1865 at Fort Laramie, Wyo. She filed for divorce on 24 Jul 1871 but wasn't granted one. He also filed for divorce in Blaine Co. Idaho, on 22 Apr 1869, but was not granted one.

Also stating her father was William Burden & her mother's maiden name was June Mills. She had a brother William Burden & a sister Elizabeth Burden (who married James Brannan). She talks about her marriage to William H. Hunt, and to William E. Blackhart. States that soldier's father's name was Barkley, and that he had a brother named James Riley. She also mentioned the names of Thomas Hipps, James Burton, Elizabeth Leonard, Andrew McGrew, William Peck and Lillie Peck. She stated that she bore 2 children to William (twins who were born in Bingham Canyon, Utah and died in infancy).
