may have spelt the name incorrectly. You may also wish to use the "Find"
function on your browser toolbar.

that part of the Parish of Crich which lies South of Dimple Lane and South of Chadwick
Lane" [807 individuals]
1841 - "All
that part of the Parish of Crich which lies North of Chadwick Lane, South of Coddington
Road and West of the Cromford and Langley Mill Turnpike Road" [808
individuals - but I have spotted that the Enumerator has entered one family twice, and
appears to have 'popped in' some entries out of sequence, where he may have had a space -
I have left the record as written!]
1841 - "All
that part of the Parish of Crich which lies East of the Cromford and Langley Mill Road,
North of Dimple Lane and South of the Lane from Crich to the Hollins" [469 individuals]
1841 - "All
that part of the Parish of Crich which lies North of the Lane from Crich to the Hollins
and North of Cromford Road" [535 Individuals - Includes a small
part of Crich Carr, Cliffside, Cliff Wood, Whatstandwell Bridge, part of Holloway,
Upper Holloway, Wheatcroft, Plaistow Green, Pothouse, the Hollins. This final section was the most difficult, as in parts it was almost
unreadable, hence the number of ? marks or -- to indicate uncertainty]
Please note, that entry of Census Records will of
necessity be a gradual exercise. I have listed the four sections separately to lessen the
file size with a view to aid download time.
