In the center are one of several species of wild flowers with interesting blossoms that grew in Fjlotavik Valley. Many were growing in rather harsh conditions such as this gravel bank. Close by, was a green leafy plant that was just emerging which once was eaten as a source of vitamin C by the settlers of the area. |
