George Ketchabaw's first wife was Amy GILMORE,they had two children before her untimely death on December 11, 1874, probably in Huron Co, MI. The two children were Jennetta known as Etta and Frederick.
George was born on 27 Jul 1842 in Bayham Twp, Elgin Co, Ontario, Canada, the great great grandson of Henrick Katzenbach and Eva DeVoe, Loyalists to the King during the Revolutionary War (see Abraham's descendants for more on Henry and Eva).
George remarried in Dec 1875 in Huron Co, MI to Narissa (Narcissa) Smith. They had 12 children living between Canada and Huron County, MI. George died in 1908 location is not known to me at this time.
George is in the 1880 census in Huron Co, MI and then in the 1881 census in Bayham, Elgin East, Ontario census. Jennetta and Fred are in both census.
