Descendants of William Wallace Hammond

See the JudgeJudge William Wallace Hammond was the son of Charles Hammond and Clarrisa Clark. He married Any Ann Hurd,this is the correct spelling, not Amy. They were married on September 24, 1854. The Judge had a long and colorful career. After his education and graduation from Freburg Academy he traveled the country for 12 years, dabling in one venture after another. He was a teacher,a merchant, a lumberman, and a solider. Toward the end of the Civil War he enlisted and was commissoned to Captain, given his own Company to command. He was a well liked and respected man becoming a Judge for Erie Co., NY and serving for 12 years, afterward opening a law firm that still operates today. The Judge had three siblings; George W. born 12 Oct 1833, Marthaline born 6 Apr 1836, and Sarah Ann born 13 Jun 1839.
The Judge and Any Ann had one child Rosabelle A.A.(probably stands for Any Ann) Hammond born 30 Jul 1860 and married Charles Koepka on Jan 7, 1877. William Wallace's grandparents were Benoni G. Hammond and Ruth Lobdell, they had 14 children. One of William's uncles served in the Civil War during the same time as he was Captain.
William's great grandfather Paul Hammond was born in Massachusettes and served in the Revolutionary War, afterwards he was a farmer in Penfield and Webster, New York where he married Mary Fuller.
