According to the annual volumes of Lloyd's Register for 1865/66-1881/82, the PRIDE OF WALES was a 3-masted, square-rigged ship, built under special survey by Labbee, Quebec, and launched in May 1865. 906 (1866/67: 885)/898/788 tons (gross/net/under deck); 194.7 x 33 x 19.9 feet (length x breadth x depth of hold).
