In the name of God Amen: the foureteenth day of May in the thirteenth yeare of the raigne of our Soveraigne Lord Charles by the grace of God king of England Scotland France & Ireland defender of the faith etc., and in the yeare of our Lord 1637 I Anne Boughton of Ditton alias Doddington within the parish of Cleobury Mortimer and Couty of Salop and diocesse of Hereford widow Whole of body and in good and perfect memory praised be God therefore doe make & ordaine this my last will and Testament in manner and forme following, that is to say, first I give and bequeath my soule into the hands of Almighty God my onely maker Saviour and reedeemer by whom, & by the merits of whose precious death and passion I most stedfastly trust and belive, to have free and cleere remission of all my sines and everlasting life, and my body to be buried in Christian buriall in the Church of Cleobury Mortimer neere unto John Boughton my husband lately deceased. And as touching the disposition of all such goods Cattells Chattells money stocke & houshold stuffe and all other the substance of me the said Anne Boughton, which God hath lent ome and indued mee with all I wholy give and bequeath limitt and demise the same in manner and forme following viz.
First I give and bequeath unto Anne Parks the wife of Robert Parks my eldest daughter, Twenty shillings in mony one paire of flaxen sheetes and halfe a dozen of Table Napkins.
Item I give and bequeath to Katherine Haycocke my second daughter the wife of John Haycocke Twenty shillings.
Item I give and bequeath unto Jone Millichap the wife of Thomas Millichap my third daughter Twenty shillings and the second dripping pan
Item I give and bequeath unto Elizabeth Boughton my fourth daughter, Twenty shillinges, the best featherbed, one bolster one pillow one paire of flaxen sheetes one paire of hempton Sheetes, one paire of hurden sheetes, one Coverlet or sixteene shillings of money one brasse Canldlesticke, one brasse Chafingdish the fourth Pewter dish, two litle dishes, and two Counterfett dishes.
Item I give to Anne Low five shillings.
Item I give to Jone Millichap one Pewter dish. I give unto Anne Haycocke five pound.
Item I give to William Millichap and John Millichap, five pound by equall portions, this money to be paid unto the father of those children within the space of one whole yeare after my decease for the use of the children.
Item I give to the poore of the parish of Cleobury six shillings eight pence. All the rest of my goods Cattells and Chattells I wholy give and bequeath unto Charles Boughton my grandchild my debts and legacies being paid and funerall expences discharged whom I make my sole and onely Executor of this my last will and Testament & I require him faithfully to performe the same as he shall answer at the dreadfull day of iudgment. In witnes whereof I have to this my last will and testament subscribed my name the day and yeare first above written utterly revoking and disanulling all former wills & Testament whatsoever.
