Gouger/Gouget

Generation 1
The Gouger name is also shown as Gouget, Gouge and Goujet.  Bonaventure Gouget was born  in Boulon, Normandie, France and died before 1685 in Boulon, Bayeux Diocese, Normandie, France. He married Catherine Eustache 12 October, 1648 in Boulon, Bayeux Diocese, Normandie, France. Catherine died before 1685.
Their children:
Robert Gouget born 21 September, 1662, his godfather was the Lord of Cantelou (Robert Baratte),  died 09 January, 1719/1720 in Normandie France. Married Catherine Dauvergne 10 September, 1685.

Following my line from Canada.
Charles Gouget was born 28 April 1799 in Quebec, Canada, the son of Jean-Baptiste and Agathe Beaudoin Gouger.  He married Sophie Perrault, daughter of Andre Perrault and Marie Isabelle Blanchard,  on 20 May, 1828 in St. Paul, Joliette  County, Quebec, Canada. He died prior to 1871 as the 1871 Census states that Sophie "Gouge" is a widow living in St Paul, Joliette Industrie Village, Quebec, Canada.

Joseph Edmond (Edward) Gouger born 16 February 1840 in Canada.  In 1860 Joseph Gouger is found on the Census in Fort Edward, NY living with the Francois Fardette family. He married Clementine Fardette around 1861 in Fort Edward, NY. They both died on the same day within 11 hours of each other on February 10, 1909 in Forestport, NY.
