Myrtle Frazier, 89, of Oskaloosa, formerly of Eddyville, died Sunday, June 15, 2003 at the Georgian Court Nursing Home in Oskaloosa. Funeral services will be 10 a.m., Friday, June 20, 2003 at United Methodist Church in Eddyville, Rev. Gary McDonough officiating. Burial will be at Highland Cemetery in Eddyville.
She was born July 14, 1913 in Johnson Township of Polk County, Minn., to Otto J. and Hilda Ostby Larson. She married Stephen Douglas Frazier March 7, 1935 in Unionville, Mo. He died Feb. 22, 1974. She attended high school in Minnesota. After she finished her education, she was a nanny in Minneapolis, Minn. She moved to Iowa as a nanny in 1934 in Albia. She married in 1935 and continued being a nanny until she began her family. She worked at the Mahaska County Hospital in Oskaloosa for several years, retiring in 1973. She lived in the Eddyville area most of her life, where she enjoyed gardening and growing flowers. She was a member of the Faith Community Church in Eddyville.
She is survived by three sons, Dewaine "Red" (Terry) Frazier of Davenport, Darrell (Pam) of Ottumwa and Stanley (Alice) Frazier of Brainard, Minn.; five daughters, Carroll Jean (Clarence) Finch of Sims, N.C., Joann (Kenneth) Sanders of Ankeny, Delores (Rex) Anderson of Rose Hill, Phyllis (Herman) Henderson of Oklahoma, and Beverly (Donald) Selleck of Barron, Wis.; one brother, Oliver Eaglebach of Shallake, Saskatchewan; 28 grandchildren; 54 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband; parents; one son, Steven Frazier; one son-in-law, Carroll Windelman; seven brothers; three sisters; one grandson; and one granddaughter.
Visitation will be 9 a.m. to 9 p.m., Thursday, at Eddyville Funeral Chapel with the family present from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday evening at the funeral chapel.
Memorials may be made to the Eddyville United Methodist Church.
Eddyville Funeral Chapel is in charge of arrangements.

Funeral Services will be Friday, June 20, 20D3, at 10:OO AM at the United Methodist Church in Eddyville with Reverend Gary McDonough officiating. Burial will be at the Highland Cemetery In Eddyville.

Visitation will begin Thursday 9:OO AM to 9:OO PM at the Eddyville Funeral Chapel. The family will be present Thursday evening from 6:00 - 8:OO PM at the Funeral Chapel.

Memorials may be made to the Eddyville United Methodist Church.
