The SIMONSON-HENRY photographs on the following pages are from an old, velvet-covered album preserved by Ellen Simonson Tucker. Family oral history says that there was a family dispute over the placement of an elderly relative into a nursing home. Another relative then removed the patient to a private home. In the moving process, a few pictures were removed from the album and the album was tossed out. It was then removed from the trash can and ended up in Ellen's care.
Many of the photographs are of unidentified people. I would be delighted to hear from any one who can identify any of the unknowns.
The father of John B was Garret Simonson also known as Garret Van Aersdalen. I have a large amount of material pertaining to this name change and the process of tracking it down and documenting it. I'd be happy to share it with any interested party.
John B's wife Polly Bradford was a descendent of Governor William Bradford of the Mayflower. I also have this lineage to share.
