"The Drill Inn" after bring renamed the "Old Drill" which has now been renamed "H.G.Wells" [Around 2010]
[Named after legendary author HG Wells who was born only round the corner from here ?] From the pub owners.
Was in "Cheam Lane, Cheam, Epsom, Surrey" around 1871. Area now renamed.
2012, Now in "Cheam Common Road, Worcester Park, Sutton, Surrey. [Greater London]"

The area at the time was mainly farm land, not till the 1930's was major building work done, which was like building a "New Town" of Worcester Park
