Partner 1912   Had child out of wedlock - Walter Treneman

Mother admitted, in labour with Walter and left by her own request after 3 weeks
[1,921 inmates]

At some time between 3 April 1911 and 29 June 1912 she moved from Wallington to London and worked as a cook at 12 Lower Belgrave Street, London.
30 June 1912 Louisa was admitted to, Marylebone Workhouse 1 Northumberland Street W1
[Northumberland Street renamed by 1938 to Luxborough Street]
in labour with Walter and left with Walter, by her own request after 3 weeks. [Where Too ?]

For more information on the history of the workhouse
See Peter Higginbotham's excellent website

http://www.workhouses.org.uk/StMarylebone/

This means that Walter's father could have lived in Devon [Louisa could have visited her family] Wallington or London, not too big an area !!

As one would think that she would not have been taken on as a cook, if she was clearly pregnant, would think she was in London by the latest Nov/Dec 1911 ?
On the other hand it appears they employed her till the day Walter was born ? - Les T

[Possible father's family name " Walter"
as their is a number of "Walters" in Devon,
but Walter Treneman is the only one found in the records
during his life time, spelt Treneman or Trenaman.
