Although you have the baptism of Louisa Florence NELLER
(later Smith and Fairminer) shown at Selborne on 10 Feb 1884
I could not find a record of her baptism in Selborne parish records.
However, I have now found one for Louisa Florence KNELLER on 10 Feb 1884
at St Matthew’s Church, Blackmore, Hants.
This could have been the case that Charlotte did not want the baptism record
to show ‘base born’ or illegetimate, or that the priest had refused to baptise
without the child’s father’s name being revealed.
Either way, I think the name and date makes it fairly certain that Blackmore
was the place of baptism. - from David Neller

I used to visit Frimley Church with my Mum.
Uncle Alf used to tend the grave before he died and always kept it in good repair, he also scattered the ashes of Grandad onto the grave.
We used to try and tidy the grave on our visits , also it was difficult in trying to find Teddy's grave, there was no marker.

I can remember when Teddy died and Grandad came from Farnham Hospital to tell my Mum, I used to play with him, Grandad was crying and he was wiping his tears with a red spotty handkerchief. Its surprising how memories stay with you.
