Elizabeth Treneman b.1815 was also descended from family in North Petherwin and William Trenaman b.1720 North Petherwin was her great grandfather.

Albert Marles (grandson of Elizabeth Trenaman, b.1815 Hatherleigh) knew that his grandmother had relatives in the Plymouth area, some of whom were most probably descendants of James Trenaman and Mary Adgers, making them her third cousins.
