I was raised an Anglican. After I joined the force [R.C.M.P.] , St Barnabus Church in Winnipeg built a new building. My mother donated a pew to my father and Alice [Helena] donated a pew to her husband Joe Kitkoski.

Years later after my mother died I donated a stained glass window to that church in her memory and Alice [Helena] donated a window to the Hankowski family.
