Narrative

They died young and when I sent for the Death Certificates I found they both had TB. I remember my grandfather telling me that his grandfather had rescued someone from the Workhouse and this must have been Henry’s mother Elizabeth Loram. She would have had a terrible time there with young children, and probably William Henry did not have good health because of this and his wife Hannah probably caught TB from him.
