Narrative
A story often told by Mum was about going down the woods to collect fir cones and bits of wood to sell as firewood to get 6d to go to the pictures on a Saturday. - Les Treneman (son)
Narrative
Another story was about an Aunt at Lilian's wedding reception (who was I think in the Salvation Army) when it came to the toast to the bride & Groom, shouted out ¨Stick to the good old lemonade¨ - Les Treneman
Was Ivy - William Fairminer´s wife - (from Janice Hills nee Day)
Narrative
Lilian Rose told Irene Treneman nee Drury that after her husband Walter died, she visited Bess and frank (Frank L and Winifred B Beagley nee Fairminer) at their house. When Bess went into the kitchen, Frank made "a play" for her. After this she would not go to the house but always arranged to met Bess some where in town. - Les Treneman 2010
