WILLIAM STRONG (a2d4c)
WILLIAM STRONG (a2d4c) son of Thomas Strong (a2d4), was born in 1800 in
Rockingham, North Carolina. October 24, 1824 William married Elizabeth Bailey. William Strong moved to Greene County, Tennessee. William was a physician,
merchant and farmer. William Strong was believed to have been a Union Sympathizer and was
killed by confederate forces under the command of General John H. Morgan. William Strong
died between 1862 and 1864.

Strong was the great grandfather of James R. Rolff's wife, Sandra Marie Strong-Rolff.
