died bef. Jun-1663 in Dover Neck, Strafford County, NH.Emigrated 23-May-1635 from Bristol, England, on the barque Angel Gabriel; the ship was wrecked in a gale [probably a hurricane] off Pemaquid Point, ME, 15-Aug-1635.
"Shipwreck John Tuttle" settled initially in Chebasco, near the present Essex, MA, but moved soon to Dover, NH, perhaps by 1638. In 1642 John drew Lot #7 in the first division of land on the west side of Back River.
