Not sure if the above administration dated 16 Apr 1734 applies
to this Aaron Bullock or another.]. Buried in Old Swedes
Church Cemetery, Wilmington, DE.[5]
Occupation: Salesman in England for his brothers, Pete and Timothy,
who opperated linen factories in Belfast, Ireland. Farmer in America. Immigrant
Ancestor.
Taken from the letter of Edna M. Bullock written 15 Nov 1941:
"The first record we have of the Bullock's coming from England
was of Aaron Bullock who came to America in the year 1720...In
England he had been a salesman for his brothers Pete and Timothy
who opperated linen factorys in Belfast Ireland, and had then
a residence in Liverpool England. In this country, received land
by a grant from Wm. Penn and spent the remainder of his life in
its cultivation, his form land was in what is now Del. Co. Pa.
and was close to Del. State line. Mr. Bullock died here. Aaron
is burried in Old Swedes Wil. Del. Cemetary, with him came his
son Isaac then 3 years old." [5]
In Genealogical Abstracts from Biographical and Genealogical History
of the State of Delaware, it states, "Aaron Bullock, from
England c. 1716. In England he had been a salesman for his brothers
Peter and Timothy, who operated linen factories in Belfast, Ireland
and res. in Liverpool, England. In America Aaron received a land
grant from William Penn and lived here the rest of his life in
what is now Delaware Co., PA, near the DE state line. He was bur.
in the Old Swedes' Churchyard in Wilmington. Aaron brought to
America with him his son Isaac Bullock, aged 5." [6]
Aaron Bullock was taxed in Birmingham Twp, Del Co, PA, in 1732.
