119. John BULLOCK III. Born
on 9 Jun 1841 in Brandywine Hundred, New Castel Co, DE.[4],[87],[88] John
died on 7 Aug 1925; he was 84.[88]
Occupation: Apprenticed to a wheelwright and in April 1897 he
engaged in business for himself.[4],[87] Education: Public schools of Wilmington.[87] Religion: Attended M. E. Church.[4]
Note: Two more children, deceased. [4]
He was a Republican.[87]
Military: On 18 Aug 1862 John enlisted at Wilmington in Company
D, 4th Regiment, DE Volunteer Infantry and served with that regiment
till the close of the Civil War. He participated in the battles
of Cold Harbor, Petersburg, Weldon Railroad, and Gravel Run, Va.,
in 1864, and Five Forks, Va., in 1865, and in many important engagements.
Mr. Bullock was mustered out of the army at Alden Heights, Va.,
in 1865, and returned to Wilmington, DE. [4],

On 21 Jun 1868 when John was 27, he first married Annabelle ANDERSON.[88]
