These pages are very much a first attempt at providing them with a web presence, and as such, please forgive any rough edges.
They are almost exclusively Scottish in origin, with some Irish imports.
In Scotland they range from Caithness in the far north, down to the Borders and across to Dumfriesshire.
The one I'm most proud to claim is Helen McKissock.
If she hadn't sued my g-g grandfather for child paternity my surname would have been McKissock.
I'm still debating on which of the notorious ones to highlight!
