Beekman Cemetery, at the United Methodist Church, Poughquag
Beekman Cemetery is an active cemetery on the grounds of the United Methodist Church of Poughquag.   The majority of the stones are modern, the older stones are near the church.  The cemetery appears to be run seperately from the church.   One could contact the church, 915-724-5421,  for the current phone number of the Cemetery directors.     Driveway to the church is at NW intersection of Gardner road and Poughquag road (CR 7) in hamlet of Poughquag.

Dr. Poucher writes in his Cemetery book of Dutchess county, "Within it's boundaries was bult in 1839, a Methodist Church".
