Friends' Burial Ground  Arthursburg 1828 1828 98 Not yet found.  A friend says that the town had cleaned up the cemetery in the last few years, but we're still trying to find it.  The location is not obvious.  In 1914,  "The Friends had an organized meeting at Arthursburgh prior to the War of the Revolution and built a meeting house, very early, which is still standing."   The meeting house was/is located on the east side of Emans road next to a pond, approx. 1/2 way between the two the two connectinos to Rt 82.  The meeting house is only partly standing.  E-mail discussions in private and on the Genweb Dutchess County query page appears that the meeting hall became a Grange Hall, and then fell in disrepair and could not be maintained by the members.
Manchester Community Ground

Manchester 1765 1769 115 On Overlook Rd (CR 46) just north of Rt 55, between Overlook and the Wappingers Creek.  Currently called LaGrange Cemetery.   Continues to be in good shape.
In 1912,  "Near Manchester Bridge; on the west side of the road, opposite the farm of Mr. William H. Hart.  In comparatively good order.  The Manchester Bridge cemetery was begun before 1800 and is still in use. The following  list includes all inscriptions to (approximately) 1850, the modern section of the cemetery not being included."

Methodist Church
 - Two locations
Potter's Corners 1795 1785 148 Trinity Methodist Church is currently physically in Lagrange,  on Cross Road just north of Noxon Rd (CR21).   A new cemetery is at this location.  The original location was 1/2 mile away at East Noxon Rad and Clapp Hill road as the historical intersection,  and where the current Rt 55 intersection Noxon Road.  (Crossroads).  The original location is now in Union Vale, and is fairly good condition.  In 1912, " More or less overgrown with saplings, bushes and vines; surrounded by a wooden fence.  Methodist services were held in the town of La Grange by circuit-riding preachers by or before 1800 and a church building was erected at Potter's Corners early in the nineteenth century. In 1866 the building was removed to Morey's Corners, a place now known as La Grangeville."
Van Kleeck / Westervelt Family Ground Titusville 1808 1816 7 On east side of Titusville Road (CR 49), just north of Richards Blvd by side of road, overgrown with weeds, but in fairly good shape.  In 1911,  "Between Manchester Bridge and Titusville,...  Overgrown; surrounded by an iron fence."  Photo 1Photo 2
