Richard Heaton's Newspapers
I have been collecting 18th and 19th Century British and Irish Newspapers and Periodicals since 1998 which I am gradually digitalising. While many might have been printed originally few now survive and some of the examples I have are almost certainly now unique. Given the scope of the collection I do have newpapers covering of the life of Mary Eleanor Bowes “The Unhappy Countess” of Gibside. The Morning Post is of particular importance as the programe makers will have explained and the example below is for illustrative purposes only. Two pages of which are free to download below and the full newspaper is available free to download at Last Chance to Read (my digital site). You just need to register for access and then search for Flog It.
Despite the lack of the Countess in the particular paper below it remains a very interesting read and I hope you enjoy perusing it.
