W E L C O M E to my JOHNS Webpage !
Yore just in time, we're fixin to et supper. We cooked a mess of greens, white bacon, hoecakes and a special treat - good ole swamp cabbage. Good old Florida meal!!
I'm a sixth generation Floridian. Born and raised in North Florida. Some of my JOHNS FAMILY migrated from southern Georgia to the northern portion of the Territory of East Florida in 1822.Others followed later in the 1820s.They settled near Starke FL, along the Sampson River and Sampson Lake.
I would love to hear from others who have some of their Johns Family in Florida.
Ya'll come back now!!
