George P. Shaw, Company B, First Regiment Infantry, Term of Service: 2 years, private. Enlisted May 2, 1898, mustered May 11, 1898. Paid bounty, May 17, 1898, $22.00. Left Service October 27, 1898. How left service: mustered out and honorably discharged. Age 21, born Gray, residence Standish, occupation: farmer, single, height 5' 9", complexion: light, blue eyes. Hair dark brown. Remarks: address of parent or guardian: Alvin C. Shaw, Standish, Maine.
