The following obituary for Mrs. Faye Etta Edgerton was published in The Daily Oklahoman (Oklahoma City, Oklahoma) on Tuesday, December 18, 1986:

 

“EDGERTON

 

Faye Etta, 93, OKC, died Wednesday.  She was born Jan. 19, 1893, Welch, Indian Territory. Married C.O. Edgerton 1931.  He preceded her in death in 1953.  Also preceded in death by her daughter, Marguerite Cusac, 1974.  Lived in Cushing, Stillwater, later moved to OKC, where she had lived with a sister, Mildred Gragg, since 1971.  She was Past Worthy Matron of Eastern Star, Drumright OK., Mother Advisor of Rainbow Girls, Secretary-Treasurer of Drumright Eastern Star, also of Drumright School Board. In addition to her sister, Mildred, she is survived by 3 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.  Graveside service 2pm Thursday, at Fairlawn Cemetery, Stillwater OK.”
