The following obituary for Mrs. Eunice (Adams) Edgerton was published in the Baton Rouge Advocate on October 14, 1993, (pg. 14A):

 

“EDGERTON, EUNICE ADAMS

 

Died Friday, Oct. 8, 1993 in Baton Rouge.  She was 94, a former longtime resident of Coushatta and a resident of Baton Rouge several years.  She was a schoolteacher in Coushatta. Religious services at First United Methodist Church, Coushatta, at 2 p.m. Saturday, conducted by the Rev. Bob Galialas.  Burial in Springville Cemetery.

 

Survived by a daughter, Stella Susan Edgerton Rich, Lawrenceville, Ga.; a son, Clarence E. “Mickey” Edgerton III, Baton Rouge; five grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.  Preceded in death by husband, Clarence Edgerton Jr.; and a daughter, Eunice Edgerton.

 

Memorial donations may be made to Frist United Methodist Church.”
