The following obituary for Mrs. Margaret Tasky (Sparling) Edgerton was published in the Terre Haute Tribune (pg. 2) on Saturday, April 28, 1924:

 

“MRS. MARGARET T. EDGERTON

 

Mrs. Margaret T. Edgerton, 44 years old, died at 6:10 o’clock Friday night at the Union hospital.  She is survived by her husband, Edward L. Edgerton; one son, Lester, and one daughter, Valeria.  Funeral services will be held at 2 o’clock Sunday afternoon at the residence, 1501 North Sixty Street.  Burial will be in the Highland Lawn cemetery.”

The following obituary for Edward Lenhart Edgerton was published in the Terre Haute Tribune (pg. 2) on Thursday, November 11, 1943:

 

“EDWARD EDGERTON

 

Edward Edgerton, 77 years old, died at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Irving Heath, 620 South Nineteenth street, at 2 o’clock Thursday morning following an illness of several years.  Besides the daughter he is survived by one son, Lester L., of Riley, Ind., and one granddaughter, Miss Margaret Heath.  He was a member of the Amico I.O.O.F. lodge.  The body was taken to the Cross Funeral Home.”

 

A subsequent funeral and burial notice was published in the Terre Haute Tribune (pg. 2) on Friday, November 12, 1943.
