News on Wednesday, September 11, 1940: “George Edgerton… Mrs. Paul Bauman of Egbert Stop, upon her return from a three-week visit with her sister, Mrs. George Edgerton of Northeast, Pa, received word that her brother-in-law, Mr. Edgerton, had passed away Sunday.
