George W. Edgerton, son of Amos and Maribah (Davis) Edgerton.
George W. Edgerton, “of Lake County, Indiana”
enlisted on July 22, 1861 and served as a private in B Company; 20th Indiana
Infantry Regiment. He was killed in
battle at Gettysburg, Virginia on July 2, 1863 (see Report of the Adjutant
General of the State of Indiana; Holloway, 1865-66). |
