Edgerton, for service in the 7th Connecticut Infantry Regiment, Company C.  Henry served as a private.  He was killed in battle at Raleigh, North Carolina on July 3, 1865 and buried at the National Cemetery in Raleigh, North Carolina (see Roll of Honor, Civil War Union Soldiers, Vol. XVIII, pg. 48).

Henry’s mother, “Elizabeth Edgerton”, applied for a Civil War Pension on behalf of her son on April 12, 1882.  The application cited Henry’s service in the 7th Connecticut Infantry, Company C. (see National Archives Pension Applications; Application #303000).
