Judd Edgerton died at West Granby, Connecticut on July 14, 1834, “aged 29 years”.  He was buried in his father’s plot at the West Granby Cemetery.  The sexton’s records there (“Reckords of the West Granby Burying-Ground”; pg. 11, no. 211), list the following entry for his burial:

“[1834]…July 15, Judd son of Jacob Edgerton…consumption…[age] 28… [lot] 34”

Judd Edgerton left a Last Will and Testament, dated April 25, 1834, in which he mentioned his mother, Nancy Edgerton, and a number of his siblings.  A subsequent codicil, altering a bequest to his youngest brother Caleb, was executed shortly before his death on July 9, 1834.
