Madison L. Edgerton was published in The Record, Northern
New Jersey on Wednesday, May 9, 1990 (pg. F12):
“MADISON L. EDGERTON, 86, of Kearny, formerly of Blairstown, died
Tuesday. Before retiring in 1979, he
was a senior vice president of Transport of New Jersey in Maplewood, where he worked for 57 years. He was a member of the Golden Brass Club of
Transport of New Jersey. Surviving are
his wife, Ruth Palmer Edgerton; a son, Madison L. Jr. of Lyndhurst; a grandchild, and two
great-grandchildren. Services will be
Friday at 10 a.m. at Wilfred Armitage Funeral Home, Kearny,
with burial in Glendale Cemetery, Bloomfield.
Visiting will be Thursday from 2 to 4
and 7 to 9 p.m.”
The
following obituary for Mrs. Ruth (Palmer) Edgerton was published in The Record, Northern
New Jersey on Tuesday, October 9, 1990 (pg. C8):
“RUTH PALMER EDGERTON, 88, of Kearny died Saturday. Surviving are a son, Madison L. Jr. of Lyndhurst; a grandson,
and two great-grandchildren. Services
will be Wednesday at 10 a.m. at Wilfred Armitage Funeral Home, Kearny.”
