According to the above record, Elizabeth was the mother of seven children, six of whom were still living.  Under occupations, Rodney was listed as “farmer”, Walter as a “farm laborer”, and Josephine as a “stenographer”.  Everett was noted as “at school”.  At the time of this census, Rodney’s eldest son, Raymond G., was living in Corning, Steuben County, New York, where he was listed as a boarder in the household of John Harper.  Raymond was enumerated there as a “cooper, aged 24, b. March 1876 in NY”.
