Harold Ball has written an extensive book on descendants
of Shadrach D. and Jane
(Walker) Ball
and was kind enough to loan me a copy. His sources are
clearly noted, and he had access to some family documents
that provide invaluable information about the early
generations of this branch of the family.
He and a committee worked for decades to compile information
about every descendant they could find. His work is
quoted extensively in my Family
File.
