Laura Robbie (Sneed) Stooksbury.
Still living in Caryville. There are only
a handful of entries. By now, Andrew is quite ill. His
official diagnosis was chronic interstitual nephritis/Bright's
Disease, both of which were heavily-used but not particularly
specific terms at the time. In other words, something
was wrong with his kidneys. He died later in the year.
Corilda herself suffered a series of small
strokes later in life, and the diaries suggest problems
even at this point. She died in 1931.
