East Haddam is located in Middlesex County, Connecticut. The town was organized in 1734 from the Town of Haddam, located on the Connecticut River. All though East Haddam was a small farming town, because of the location of the river near by, it was easy for prominent families to start industries and become a big part in East Haddam Genealogy.
