Obituary...Edward Blackburn, 69, Dies At Fayetteville; Funeral Rites Tuesday
Edward Blackburn, 69 of Route 1 died Friday April 29, (1960) at the Veterans Hospital in Fayetteville, Arkansas. Funeral services will be at 2 PM, Tuesday at the Washington Christian Church, With Rev. Paul Butler officiating. Interment will be in the White Oak Pond Cemetery with services under the direction of the colonial Funeral Chapel. Survivors include his wife Ruby, of the home; four sons, Bert of Lebanon; Floyd of the U.S. Navy, stationed in New York; Granville, stationed at an army base in California, and Jimmy of the home; and three daughters, Mrs. Katherine Ogle, Higginsville, Miss Onabelle Blackburn, Marshall, and Mrs. Rosella Lee Bradford of South Carolina. He also leaves one brother, Alsa Blackburn of Phillipsburg; 15 grandchildren, three step grandchildren; and six step great-grandchildren.
