Drummond, John E. of Rockdale. Died at the home of a daughter, Mrs. Graham Young in the Gay Hill Comm. Services held (Monday) at the Phillips & Luckey Funeral Chapel, Rockdale. Burial (not mentioned). Rev. Roy Brewton, pastor of the Rockdale Christian Church officiated. Mr. Drummond was a native of Mississippi. He came to Texas when he was 17 years old and was a retired farmer residing in the vicinity of Rockdale. Survivors: 3 sons, John M and Daniel Drumond of Rockdale, Harry Drummond of Abilene; 4 daughters, Mrs. Will Koke of Littlefield, Mrs. Marvin Young, Mrs. Graham Young and Mrs. Joe Brown of Rockdale; 17 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild.
