Terrell in Bell County, Tx, to the late M/M Charles Terrell. Married John R. Gifford on 12/28/1906,
he preceded her in death in 1942, Also by a son J.R. Gifford on 5/5/1962. She had lived in Rockdale
for the past 20 years and a member of First Christian Church, Rockdale. She was in failing health for
several months. Survivors: 3 sons, Guinn Gifford and Kenneth Gifford of Thorndale, Jack Gifford of
Blanco; 2 daughters, Mrs. Effie Caffey of Rockdale and Mrs. Elloie Doss of Austin; 2 sisters, Mrs. Blanche
Warren and Mrs Minnie Mahoney, both of California; 20 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren.
