About Clyde Curtis Cardwell:
CARDWELL, Curtis Clyde of Rockdale. Age 69. Died 11/3/1982 (Wed.) in Richards Memorial Hospital after
a short illness. Services held (Friday) in Phillips & Luckey Chapel. Burial in Salty Cemetery. Rev.
J.M. Foreman officiated. He was BORN 5/30/1913 in the Salty Comm. to M/M. William H. & Myrtle Criswell
Cardwell. He retired from H.H. Coffield Pipeyard after 35 years and was working with the Senior Citizens
Green Thumb program at the time of his death. Married Minnie Tucker on 6/5/1934 in Thorndale. Member
of First Baptist Church and Masonic Lodge 414 of which he was a past master. SURVIVORS: Wife, Minnie
Cardwell of Rockdale; 2 daughters, Martha Morr and Dorothy Menges, both of Rockdale; mother, Mrs. Myrtle
Cardwell of Rockdale; 2 brothers, Denver Cardwell of Hockley and Grady Cardwell of Dallas; 4 grandchildren;
